This practice did the work. All of it.
What it took
Every clinician trained. Not a 101 — comprehensive clinical skills for the range of experiences Queer clients live with and bring into the room.
Their paperwork got a Queer expert's eyes on it. Client-facing forms vetted and updated for LGBTQ+ inclusion.
Their space got a Queer glow-up. Signage, Pride symbols, and a website that says out loud who they serve.
They named an LGBTQ+ Liaison. Having one is a flex. Goes a long way for a Queer client deciding where to book.
They showed up for our community. Team building at a drag show for the win.
This isn't a one and done
Certification renews every year. New team members get trained. The community involvement continues. And I'm not going anywhere.
I know therapists want to get this right.
Wanting it has never been the problem — knowing how to do it is. So I took my super-niche education and training and built a program that teaches it: everything a practice needs to serve Queer clients well, in the order it actually happens.
Want this for your practice?
You already have Queer clients, whether or not it's your specialty. And we are careful about where we go — we read your site and ask around before we ever book. The certification seal comes with a lot of cred, and it puts you in the Proud Practice directory.
